Because Plus One is operated by volunteers, we rely on private and corporate donations to provide grants to people with neurological disorders. Your participation and attendance is what keeps our organization strong.

Our annual gala featuring stand up comedians where we celebrate and raise funds for Plus One. An evening filled with delicious food and drinks, auction prizes, and more!
AnniversarY
An annual celebration every April 1st to celebrate the organization along with clients, sponsors, etc. We also give out yearly awards during the party.
Hit the Deck
A challenge event designed to raise funds for those with neurological disorders while challenging participants to better their physical fitness.
Power of the Purse
An annual fundraising event where we auction off new and gently used clutches, satchels, and totes. Food and drinks are also provided.
Mermaid Party
An annual event raising funds for the Mermaid Pool Pass featuring amazing food, delicious wine, good company, door prizes, and entertainment.
Bingo
An annual event with the support of local businesses, philanthropic guests, and teams of volunteers to raise money to support our grants for the year.

Mermaid Party - 2023
September 28th, 2023 We came together with friends, volunteers and donors for delicious food, joyful Hawaiian music, fun games, and amazing prizes. The evening was dedicated to raising awareness and funds for people with neurological conditions.
All proceeds from this event went towards providing pool passes for people with neurological disorders through our Mermaid Pool Pass program.
Thank you to STRUM: Seattle’s Totally Relaxed Ukulele Musicians for once again playing live music at our event!
Hit the Deck - 2023
July 21st - 31st, 2023- We worked with our amazing participants to conquer a 10 day fitness and fundraising challenge! This year we raised $7133 to go towards funding grants and programs for people with neurological conditions! Check out our amazing and inspiring campaign here.
GiveBig WA - 2023
May 2nd - 3rd, 2023- Every year, WA Gives hosts an online fundraising campaign for local nonprofits. Thanks to six amazing donors, this year we raised $1325 that will go towards helping people in our local community that have neurological disorders. stand up! for plus one - 2023
April 1st, 2023- What an amazing evening filled with stand up comedy by Meaghan Gross, Cara Rosellini, and John Gard! Thank you to First Fed and Amazon for sponsoring our annual Stand Up Fundraising Gala. We enjoyed speeches from our founder, Kacey, and board members Christina and Karen. We spent the evening listening to hilarious stand up comedy, bidding on live and silent auctions, raise the paddle, and competed in dessert dash. Thank you so much to everyone that spread the word, attended the event, and brought their friends and family.

mermaid party - 2022
November 10th, 2022- Thank you to everyone that came out to our annual Mermaid Party! We ate delicious Hawaiian food and listened to the amazing music by STRUM: Seattle’s Totally Relaxed Ukulele Musicians. All proceeds from this event go towards funding mermaid pool passes for our clients.
ONE: Music For Healing Concert - 2021
January 28th, 2021- Thank you to vocal, R&B trio, EriAm Sisters, and jazz and classic pop band, Marina and the Dreamboats for performing at our virtual concert. We hope you all enjoyed great music and laughs together!
TRIVIA NIGHT & SILENT AUCTION - 2020
December 6th to December 10th, 2020- We had our incredible online silent auction and held a trivia night on the final day. Thank you to all who showed up and bought our lovely auction items!
THANKSGIVING EXERCISE/GRATITUDE SERIES - 2020
November 30th to December 4th, 2020- We partnered up with various wellness and exercise instructors to hold an amazing Thanksgiving Exercise/Gratitude Series event series! Classes ranged from Wellness/Personal Motivation, Cardio, Pilates, Yoga, and Zumba/Dance!
UKULELE CLASS - 2020
October 22 to December 3rd, 2020- Thank you to Strum Seattle and Seattle Parks & Recreation for partnering up with us to give free online ukulele lessons! On the final day, we celebrated and showcased all that the participants learned!

vision board workshop- 2020

SOOTHING RELAXATION
2019- Our workshop was developed for adults recovering from mild to moderate concussion. To help support this group thrive in their recovery, BALANCE IN BREATH and the Plus One Foundation partnered to offer this workshop to adults in the community at no cost! Thanks to everyone that attended!
Zumba Fitness Class
2019- Thanks for attending our Zumba Fitness Class (a collaboration between Plus One Foundation and Flow Fitness)! It was a huge success!
PIVOT Movement & Meditation Class
2019- Thank you to everyone that came to our PIVOT class with Jamien! Jamien instructed gentle, chair-based exercises to help strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and core strength. Speakeasy Bingo 2014
November 14, 2014 - Thank you to all the flappers and flyboys who joined us at the Ballard Elks Lodge on the shores of Shilshole Bay for a glittering night filled with fast-paced bingo games, cocktails, delicious hors d'oeuvres by City Catering Company. We kicked off the holiday season by giving thanks and celebrating Speakeasy style! We brought back the Juice Joint and celebrated the decadence, elegance, and joy of the 1920's.

Mermaid Gill'd Fundraiser
August 22, 2013 - With the help of many supporters, we raised over $3,000 last August to support aquatic therapy. Pool passes were approved within days of this event and grant recipients are receiving access to the Seattle Public Swimming Pools right now. October 19, 2013 - An incredible evening filled with generosity and bringing hope to people with neurological disorders. With the support of local businesses, philanthropic guests, and an amazing team of volunteers we were able to raise over $25,000 to fund grants for 2014.
